An aromatic and fragrant nose of dried sherried fruit and hints of mentholated herbs, barley and buttery vanilla. With time prune and rye-like spice.
The palate opens with the raisinated fruit, dried citrus, sutana and again grippy, herbal rye-like notes. Masked finish but the sweet and juicy dried fruit and camphor notes linger. and vanilla.
Water emphasises the fragrant barley The sherried dried fruit is subtler and sweeter. Hints of grass, minerals and wet stones now. The palate is softer and more herbal with barley and again sweeter dried fruit. Lovely balance and a long, herbal, chocolaty and herbal finish.
