This has a seriously complex nose! Soft, smoky and nutty with astringent smoke, medicinal herbs, juniper, vanilla and subtly sweet barley. Quite earthy with a winey edge and hints of tobacco leaf and Nordic herbs. The sherry comes though with a touch of dried fruit, tar and treacle and finally some winey berry fruit.
The palate opens with the subtle, juicy, treacly Oloroso but the smoke, earth and creamy vanilla come through. Earthy winey fruit follows with more smoke. Lovely intensity with subtle Nordic herbs and berry notes on the middle. Long, smoky, barley’d finish with a touch of marzipan, pepper, tobacco leaf and dark chocolate. Wow!

Delivery outside the UK
For all delivery destinations outside of the UK - although your order is not subject to UK VAT it will be subject to the local taxes and duties of your country.
