A fresh and floral nose which exhibits some obvious maturity. Apricot, quince, pear, oily barley, sweet honey, digestive biscuits, malt, sawdusty oak and coconut. Lovely and complex.
The palate is also floral but also heavier and oilier with mal, barley, sawdusty oak and hints of honey, apricot and stone fruit. It continues malty and oily onto the mid palate with a gentle ginger spice note and vanilla developing. Long, spicy and crisp with lemon, lime, earth, grass and biscuity notes in the finish. In conclusion: Very impressive! (tasting note from Batch 2)
