Soft aromas of raisinated fruit, toffee, treacle and subtle, Armagnac-esque oxidised fruit. A touch of dusty spice and vanilla emerge but absolutely no distillery character, but there's plenty of aged sherry. Late brown sugar, violets, edgy spice and citrus.
Soft, treacly and malty with plenty of mature sherrired dried fruit, liquorice, toffee, citrus, black coffee, lightly astringent herbs and a good dollop of mature, sawduty oak on the middle. Long, toasty dried fruit, walnut, peanut, black high roasted coffee finish. A pleasant, old, sherry monster.
