Fresh aromas of rock pools and fishy (oyster?) notes, followed by crisp barley, apricot, brine and fleshy citrus fruit. A touch of earthy but sweet peat and ozone becomes apparent. A very appealing nose!
The palate is lightly oiled and fresh with crisp barley and fleshy fruit along with hints of brine and rock pools. Lightly herbal with a hint of heather and some distant sweet peat. Long and sweetly spiced with hints of violets and brine.
A lovely blended malt whisky and excellent value for money.
