Matured in ex-Philipponnat Champagne casks – 225 litre First Fill, 250 litre Second Fill and 250 litre Third Fill.

The nose displays a slightly earthy character with taught oak tannins and a yeasty, champagne note. Quite malty with subtle baked apple, pear and ginger. A lovely, understated and mature nose.
The palate is fresher than the nose and opens with citrus, followed by toasty oak and vanilla. Again there is a slightly yeasty Champagne character evident, along with earth, spice, ginger root and malt. Lovely full mouth-feel and a long, malty, baked fruit finish.

Delivery outside the UK
