A classic Ardbeg nose of woody, sooty and tarry peat. Good fullness to the spirit with a touch of sweet barley, malt, iodine, bog myrtle and mint. The peat moves in a slightly medicinal direction with time and is joined by hints of burnt wood embers and subtle vanilla.
The palate is woody and coffee'd but balanced by plenty of sweet barley. Gently oiled and tarry peat follows, but it's a real sweetie shop. Subtle vanilla oak, medicinal bog myrtle and salt come through on the middle and the finish is long and salty with the woody peat, coffee, dark chocolate and herbal spice lingering.

Delivery outside the UK
