A blend of – 128ltr First Fill American Oak, which previously held Cloudberry wine
100ltr Fist Fill Swedish Oak, which previously held Cloudberry wine
100ltr First Fill French Oak, which previously held Cloudberry wine filled with Smoke Tail Spirit (First non peated distillation after a peated run)
200ltr Second Fill Bourbon, which previously held Oloroso
200ltr Second Fill Bourbon, which previously held Pedro Ximinez

The nose is dense, rich and malty. Considering all the wine casks the estery pineapple, apricot and apple can be detected. Superb balance of casks types with the sherry adding treacle and spicy dried fruit and the wine adding just a touch of winey, berry foresty fruit. Slightly smoky spices emerge along with earth and minerals.

The palate is rich and full, opening with more sweet treacle, walnut and sherry spice. Subtle berry fruit follows with hints of salt, fruitcake and minerals. Just like the nose the estery fruit can be detected, especially on the middle as the intense, mineral/ granity notes clear the sherry and wine. Long and spicy with a subtle smoky berry fruit note and a very subtle rose petal spirit finish. Superb!
