A lovely crisp, fresh and almost saline nose with honeysuckle, pear and lithe citrus notes. Invigorating and lively with hints of barley and toffee. With time the natural oils and oak fills out the nose but doesn’t dominate the proceedings.
The palate is equally crisp, fresh and citric with pear and honeysuckle. The spicy oak comes through on the middle and balances the citrus rather well. Long, juicy and honeyed with a touch of tangerine, lemon sorbet, oily vanilla and gentle spice in the finish. That’s a lovely progression of flavours.
