Heathery and honeyed aromas with some gorgeously sawdusty vanilla oak. It becomes quite creamy with polished barley, white chocolate and subtle, sweet spice notes.
The palate is heathery and honeyed with crisp barley, straw, spice and a touch less oak. The oak starts to come through on the middle with some gentle coffee'd tannins, milk chocolate and lightly oxidised fruit. Fabulously polished and long with violets, Alsace-esque smoky white fruit, sweet vanilla a dusty oak.
