Crisp and fresh aromas of white fruit, salt and aromatic, slightly herbal peat. I has a definite ‘old skool’ feel to the nose and I love the buckets of salt and bright citrus. Late bog myrtle, apricot, barley and weightier spirit notes.
The palate is fuller and more modern in style. Rich apricot, subtle herbal peat, bog myrtle, iodine notes follow. The middle is extremely citric, almost to the point of austerity. Very salty finish with lingering herbal peat, herbal spice and…. salt. Lovely stuff.
