The nose is slightly sappy and oily to begin with, followed by fresh, toasty spices, barley, apricot and layers of juicy sub-tropical banana, pineapple and tangerine. Very expressive and fragrant with late soft smoke and vanilla.
The palate opens with the grippy, and spicy Andean oak Vanilla, fleshy banana, apricot, melon and tangerine appear. Lovey, generous herbal and smoky middle with building charred oak and spice notes. Long, continuing spicy and toasty with lightly oiled barley, vanilla and grilled nuts in the aftertaste.
