The nose is surprisingly estery. Very bananary with oodles of white fruit. That’s not what I would expect from a Nevis! Hints of green apple, bread and spice appear.
The palate is tight and bready, but it shows some restrained estery apricot, banana, pineapple and pear. Quite spicy on the middle with developing lime and green apple. Slightly masked but still fruity and estery
A drop of water makes the nose fuller and a touch more aromatic. Still fruity with the bread and malt more noticeable. The palate is softer with a little more vanilla oak.
