A little shy to begin with but it has a lovely depth of alcohol soaked spiced fruitcake. Dense and moist with hints of black cherry, walnut, toffee, dark chocolate and violet. With time the toasty, mature oak makes its presence known bring spices galore and a touch of vanilla, green salted nuts. Delicious!
The palate is full and gentle with exceedingly moist raisinated fruitcake, dusty/ toasty, mature oak and spices. The oils build pleasantly and the middle has a lovely citrus kick along with some granity notes. Quite a dry finish as the sweet, syrupy notes are pushed aside by the citrus, leaving a dry, slightly herbal and lightly chocolaty tannin finish.

Delivery outside the UK
